11th European Lead Battery Conference

Hilton Warsaw Hotel, Warsaw, Poland

Applications and commercial opportunities for lead-acid batteries continue to increase with the development of modern innovative designs aimed at meeting the new needs of the 21st century. Worldwide there is growing pressure to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases from vehicles and power generation.  This reinforces the demand for more fuel-efficient cars and for the supply of electricity from renewable sources. Such well accepted objectives provide many new and substantial business opportunities to the lead-acid battery industry. Major aspects relating to these developments as well as the expanding telecom and motive power markets will be discussed at 11ELBC.

The Conference brings together key technical, manufacturing, marketing and R&D personnel to examine the strategic, technical and commercial issues of vital importance to the industry. 11ELBC features presentations by experts on current market issues, recent research work, new battery and separator designs, bipolar batteries and the latest advances in manufacturing techniques and equipment.  Users of batteries will also find the Conference a prime information resource on the performance of current and new design lead-acid batteries.

CONFERENCE PROGRAMME
11ELBC will start with a reception for delegates and their partners on the evening of Tuesday 23 September. The first Conference session will commence at 08.45 the next day and the Conference will end at 14.30 on Friday 26 September.  On-site registration will begin at 11.00 on Tuesday 23 September.
