Brian Wilson is a specialist independent consultant retained by the International Lead Association (ILA) who also works for a variety of Intergovernmental Organisations and NGOs on a range of sustainable recycling projects. Brian has been responsible for the implementation of multi-stakeholder lead risk reduction programs around the world with a particular focus on emerging economies and countries in transition. Brian has enjoyed a varied career, working for 15 years with the oil industry followed by 15 years with MIM Holdings at Northfleet in the UK. During Brian’s employment with MIM, he worked in the Secondary Lead Production and Personnel Management Departments. Brian left the United Kingdom and MIM UK as the Group Personnel Manager in 1996 to join the ILA at the Association’s Research Offices in North Carolina where he managed the initial ILA program for Lead Risk Reduction in Developing Countries.
