Metal Bulletin features ILA sustainability projects
A Metal Bulletin article, published this month, looking at the lead industry worldwide includes a section highlihting the sustainability projects funded by the International Lead Association.
Among the sustainability topics covered is the work of the International Lead Management Center in Central America and the Caribbean where it has been involved in resolving emission and discharge problems.
Also featured is the progress made by the Advanced Lead-Acid Battery Consortium. Its LC Super Hybrid car offers reduced carbon emissions at a lower cost than conventional hybrid vehicles whilst maintaining performance.
